Committee Description:

• The chairman reviews pamphlets and gathers information on cultural programs that could be most beneficial to all students. Each class has at least one program throughout the year.
• The chairman works with the school staff to choose suitable programs and to determine the best dates.
• Past programs include:
  • Young Audiences of America
  • Children’s Theatre Association (“Maryland, My Maryland”)
• Our school usually has one artist-in-residence a year, either art or music. The school schedules the artist. PTA funds the artist and their supplies.
• Checks for both programs to be written to the school with a grant form attached to cover our liability.
